Drop down menus gives quick selection of correct location visited, number of problems identified, actions taken. Our logical design leaves no chance of forgetting to record key information about the site.
The main report is created in a series of sections covering Report of Visit, Recommendations, Pests Found, Materials Used, Fly Unit Work and Bar Code input from Pest Control devices.
Drop down menus allows the easy selection of appropriate texts for the report. Paragraphs can be created from stored sentences, paragraphs or blocks of text. Numeric values and lists of items can be included within the paragraphs.
Additional non-standard text can be added - for instance a reference to a photograph showing a particular problem. The ability to take a photograph of a problem is one of the strengths of the recommended Samsung Q1 UMPC.
The texts selected plus any additional text typed is shown in full on the input screen.
When multiple paragraphs have been entered, they can be seen in total on the review screen. This screen also allows the entered paragraphs to be re-sequenced - useful when an item was omitted when initially creating the report.
Pests found are selected with equal ease. When Pests are identified within the Fly Unit reporting feature, catch tray quantities can be recorded from quantity menus which include actual and a range values.
Materials with quantities used are selected from drop down lists with equal ease.
Finally, the report is designed to be printed on site to a portable A4 printer.
The speed that a report can be created has to be seen to be appreciated. It will give you more time to carry out Pest Control work and less on administration / recording.
Customers appreciate the new reports as it does not fade, is easy to read, fits into a standard A4 filing system and looks as if it is written personally for them.
